On this page, you will find a quick summary of what has changed and where the key resources are located. This includes being able to find guidance resources easily by your industry, accessing our recent media and news from the main menu, discovering information about our partners and how we work together, and much more.
For business
Industry-specific guidance is now available directly from the homepage by clicking on your industry. You can also click on the Business tab at the top left of the page to find these resources and information on core obligations for all reporting entities, such as your AML/CTF program, identifying customers and reporting to AUSTRAC.
For partners
Information for our partners is now available from the new Partners tab at the top of the page. On this page, you will find information for and about:
- Fintel Alliance
- government partners
- law enforcement and task forces
- agency requests to access AUSTRAC information
- international partners
- international cooperation initiatives
- exchange instruments.
For individuals
The Individuals tab at the top of the page will take you to resources for individuals. This includes when you need to declare moving money overseas, why you might be asked for identification, and checking information about frauds and scams.
You can also check if a remittance service provider is registered with AUSTRAC before engaging in their services.
For journalists
Information for journalists is now available in the News and media tab at the top of the page. This includes access to our latest media releases, updates for business and additional information, including how to contact the AUSTRAC media team.
Bookmarks and favourites
Due to the enhancements to our website structure there may be some changes to the pre-existing bookmarks and favourites you have saved. In cases where pages have changed in the structure you will need to save these as a new favourite.
