Removal from roll or registers

You must apply to remove your business or organisation from our roll or registers if you:

Remove business from reporting entities roll

To remove your business from our reporting entities roll:

  1. Log in to AUSTRAC Online.
  2. Select Business, then Business Profile to navigate to the Business Profile page.
  3. Select Remove from RE Roll.
  4. Complete the form and select Submit.  
  5. Upon submission, you will see a confirmation page that includes your submission receipt number. You can quote this for any enquiries about your submission.
  6. You’ll also receive a submission confirmation email that contains the submission receipt number, submission date and time. You can also access a copy of the submission details under the Submissions tab in the ‘Business Profile’ sub-menu within the Business menu.

Remove business from remittances services register

  1. Log in to AUSTRAC Online.
  2. Expand Registration then select My registrations.
  3. Expand the registration you wish to remove then expand Remove remitter registration.
  4. Select REMOVE REMITTER REGISTRATION.
  5. Complete the form and select Submit.
  6. Upon submission, you will see a confirmation page that includes your submission receipt number. You can quote this for any enquiries about your submission.
  7. You’ll also receive a submission confirmation email that contains the submission receipt number, submission date and time. You can also access a copy of the submission details under the Submissions tab in the ‘Business Profile’ sub-menu within the Business menu.

Remove business from virtual asset service provider (VASP) register

To remove your VASP business from our virtual asset service provider register:

  1. Log in to AUSTRAC Online.
  2. Expand Registration then select My Registrations.
  3. Expand the VASP registration you wish to remove then expand Remove VASP registration.
  4. Select REMOVE VASP REGISTRATION.
  5. Complete the form and select Submit.  
  6. Upon submission, you will see a confirmation page that includes your submission receipt number. You can quote this for any enquiries about your submission.
  7. You’ll also receive a submission confirmation email that contains the submission receipt number, submission date and time. You can also access a copy of the submission details under the Submissions tab in the ‘Business Profile’ sub-menu within the Business menu.

Remove an affiliate from the roll or register

To remove an affiliate from the roll or register:

  1. Log in to AUSTRAC Online.
  2. Expand Registration then select Manage affiliates.
  3. Select the relevant affiliate's name.
  4. Select either Remove remitter registration to remove affiliate from register or Remove affiliate RE Roll to remove affiliate from roll
  5. Upon submission, you will see a confirmation page that includes your submission receipt number. You can quote this for any enquiries about your submission.
  6. You’ll also receive a submission confirmation email that contains the submission receipt number, submission date and time. You can also access a copy of the submission details under the Submissions tab in the ‘Business Profile’ sub-menu within the Business menu.

We’ll confirm your removal or account closure

We’ll notify you in writing when your request is processed and you’ve either: 

  • been removed from the roll or register
  • had your account has closed.
