Why you must apply for removal

You must apply to remove your business or organisation from the Reporting Entities Roll if:

  • you’ve stopped providing designated services
  • you’re unlikely to provide designated services again in the future
  • you don’t have any outstanding reporting obligations.

Requesting removal from the Reporting Entities Roll

To request removal from the reporting entities roll:

  1. Go to AUSTRAC Online.
  2. Log in with your username and password.

  1. If you’re a user for more than one reporting entity the screen below will appear. There’s a search function available.
  2. Select the business you want to remove from the Reporting Entities Roll.

  1. Select Business Profile in the ‘Business’ menu.

  1. Expand the ‘Remove from RE Roll’ box.
  2. Select Remove from RE Roll to open the form.

  1. After reading the introduction, check your business details to make sure they’re accurate and up to date.

  1. Complete the review section.
  2. Check the box to confirm the removal request.
  3. You will be required to provide a reason for removing the business from the Reporting Entities Roll.
  4. You must also provide a date for removal from the Reporting Entities Roll and indicate if you will be leaving the reporting group (if applicable).

  1. Select Next to go to the submit page.
  2. On the submit page:
    1. You will need to enter the details of the person completing the form.
    2. Check the I agree box to agree with the declaration.
    3. Select Submit when you’re ready to submit your form (after checking I agree).

  1. Upon submission, you will see a confirmation page that includes your submission receipt number. You can quote this for any enquiries about your submission.

  1. You’ll also receive a submission confirmation email that contains the submission receipt number, submission date and time. You can also access a copy of the submission details under the Submissions tab in the ‘Business Profile’ sub-menu within the Business menu.
