Following the anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing (AML/CTF) reforms, we want to assess whether our guidance, education and resources have delivered benefits to industry and the AML/CTF regime.
We have engaged Deloitte, supported by research vendor Dynata, to conduct a survey as part of this work. The survey asks about reporting entities' experience implementing the reforms. This includes the time and cost to understand obligations, implement changes and the ongoing compliance costs and operational impacts.
We want to understand if our guidance, education and resources have positively affected the time and cost impacts on reporting entities. The findings from this work will help us understand the effectiveness of support we provided to industry and the impacts of the reforms on reporting entities.
Survey invitations may be sent to reporting entities and other stakeholders from late September, with survey activity expected to continue through mid-October.
Participation in the survey is voluntary.
