AUSTRAC is conducting research to understand businesses’ readiness for upcoming changes to the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act (AML/CTF Act).

We have engaged EY Sweeney, an independent research company, to run surveys and interviews with businesses. They will contact businesses regulated now and businesses regulated after the reforms. EY Sweeney will email invitations between Wednesday 20 August and Friday 5 September 2025 on AUSTRAC’s behalf.

You may choose to participate or not. Your feedback will help AUSTRAC understand industry needs and challenges before the changes take effect. It will also help us plan better support for businesses.
