The Self Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ) is an educative tool designed to help entities with obligations under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (AML/CTF Act) and AML/CTF Rules to understand, self-assess and monitor their progress in meeting these requirements.
The SAQ supports industry in a practical way by helping businesses to track their compliance progress, while at the same time highlighting the risk-based approach that is crucial to the successful development and implementation of their AML/CTF programs.
For instructions on how to complete the SAQ, refer to the 'Introduction - Explanatory Notes' section on page six. The document may be altered to suit your own needs (for example, by adding or deleting questions).
