AML/CTF programs user guide

This e-learning course is designed to help managers and staff responsible for implementing an AML/CTF program within their organisation. The course provides three key functions:

  • to provide a structured program of online learning using the five modules and self-administered learning checks
  • to provide tools and resources that can be used for learning-by-doing activities in the business to assess the internal environment of the organisation to better enable the implementation of an AML/CTF program
  • to provide an ongoing reference to concepts and resources that can be used in the monitoring and continual improvement of the organisation's AML/CTF program

Users of the program are encouraged to study the modules and check their learning of the concepts using the online learning facility. However it is equally important to turn away from the computer and to use the tools and resources as a means of learning-by-doing to actively assess, plan and take actions to implement, monitor and improve their own organisation's AML/CTF program. It is important for users to understand the unique ML/TF risks facing their own company so that it can implement a risk-based AML/CTF program that suits its business and resources.

Whilst the e-learning course is structured to follow a sample risk management method, its navigation features also allow it to be used as an ongoing reference in the everyday work of implementing and managing an AML/CTF program.

Prior to commencing the e-learning course we recomend you to download the latest version of Adobe Acrobat (PDF) and Adobe Flash Player (Flash).
