RegTech demonstrator – expression of interest
Australia’s financial intelligence agency and anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing (AML/CTF) regulator, AUSTRAC, will host an AML/CTF event to showcase new and innovative ideas that aim to overcome current AML/CTF regulatory challenges.
AUSTRAC is now seeking expressions of interest to become a demonstrator, from all RegTechs in Australia. This is your opportunity to demonstrate your most innovative solution to more than 80 participants. These include AML/CTF reporting entities such as banks, non-bank financial institutions, gambling and remittance providers, as well as industry bodies, AML service providers and regulators.
Technology-based innovations are critical in our fight against money laundering and terrorism financing. As Australia’s RegTech sector continues to grow, the extent of this development will depend on investment and support.
